Danny has aphasia, which means he has trouble talking, reading, and writing, devastating to a young man who had just finished law school.

 

His insurance only pays for 30 therapies per year. Medicaid supplements an additional 20 a year.
These 50 sessions per year need to be split between Speech, Occupational, & Physical Therapy.

Danny's recommended treatment is closer to nine Sessions each week, or 468 sessions per year.

 

Currently, he takes Speech five times a week. His occupational and physical therapy has been reduced to once a week now. Even with this improvement, the cost of Danny's on-going therapies is still $30,000 out-of-pocket per year.   

 

Danny continues to fight and is improving, but the more therapy he can receive, the more he improves.
